Dewan Shamshul Arif
Founder & Principal Architect, Fellow (IAB)
A graduate of the prestigious Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Dewan Shamshul Arif established Vista Architectural Consultant immediately following his graduation in 1995. Raised in the dense urban fabric of Dhaka, his lifelong observation of the city's challenges shaped a professional career dedicated to conscious urban intervention and civic responsibility.
As a Fellow of the Institute of Architects Bangladesh (IAB), Architect Arif has been a pivotal voice in national architectural governance. He has actively contributed to the formulation of the Dhaka Metropolitan Building Rules (Bidhimala) and the Bangladesh National Building Code (BNBC), driving forward critical conversations on fire safety, code compliance, and sustainable development.
